Wow! August was an exciting month! I moved into my apartment in Bloomington, IN and began the first year of my PhD! I am still getting over a cold, but am excited to announce that I got cast in IU’s production of Pride & Prejudice as Sir Lucas and Mr. Gardiner! More sideburns and British accents for me!  Now that I am settling into the new lifestyle (and workload) I find that all of the people here are really nice. I genuinely like almost every single person in the department, but also everyone in the community is courteous, kind, and happy. I think I’m going to really like it here.
